Chrome Blocker privacy policy
Chrome Blocker uses your chosen website domains to block those websites in desktop Chrome. New installations have no predefined blocked websites.
The extension stores your domain list through Chrome's chrome.storage.sync API. When Chrome Sync is enabled, Google stores and transmits that list according to your Chrome Sync settings and Google's policies. When Sync is disabled, Chrome stores it locally. The extension also stores local engine status, including the applied domain list, last application time, and any rule-application error.
To enforce blocks, including cached pages, the extension checks current top-level navigation URLs transiently on your device. It does not retain or transmit those URLs or create browsing history logs. It does not read historical browsing records, page contents, cookies, passwords, or personal communications. The local blocked page displays only the blocked domain, without the original URL's path, query, or fragment.
Delta X does not receive your blocklist or browsing activity from this extension. It uses no analytics, advertising, telemetry, developer-operated backend, or remote code. It does not sell user data or use it for advertising. Data is used only for the disclosed website-blocking and preference-sync features, consistent with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
You can add, remove, or replace domains in settings. To clear the extension's list, remove all entries through Edit the whole list and save. You can also remove the extension in Chrome. Manage Google account and Chrome Sync data through Google's account controls and Chrome settings. Saved preferences remain until changed or removed; navigation URLs are not saved.
The extension requests storage for preferences and status, declarativeNetRequest to block selected domains, and webNavigation to catch cached navigations. It requests no host permissions.
If you email support@delta-x.xyz, Delta X receives the information you choose to include so it can respond to your request. Do not send passwords or sensitive browsing information. This support correspondence is separate from extension operation, which does not send data to Delta X.
